Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Patio De Piedra, I was drawn to its culinary offerings, particularly at El Pan de Oro. The ambience was pleasantly simple, allowing the food to take center stage. For breakfast, while the selection was modest, I found comfort in the freshly made eggs, which were consistently well-prepared. A highlight was the local bread, a delightful discovery that left a lasting impression. On one occasion, I requested a fruit salad, and the chef promptly accommodated me. What stood out during my dining experience was the staff's attentiveness. They were knowledgeable and eager to assist, even accommodating my late-night cab request after check-out. Despite its historical charm and engaging staff, a bit of culinary innovation would elevate the overall experience. Nevertheless, the sense of comfort during my meals cannot be understated. A worthwhile gourmet getaway for any food enthusiast.
